The EFI-X Journey Begins

My gaming machine has been running absolutely perfect for the last few months.  It's nothing fancy but I have no complaints about performance.  The CPU is an Athlon 64 X2 4200+ housed in an ASUS A8N-SLI Deluxe mobo with a Geforce 7800 video card.  Anyone that knows me knows that my motto is "if it's still working you haven't fixed it enough" so I figured I'd take a leap and build a new machine.  The EFI-X (EFiX, E-FIX, whatever) internal USB dongle has been intriguing me so I thought I'd put together a hardware setup that will allow me to use it with OS X 10.5.x.  All the parts are ordered and I managed to get the last EFI-X board in the US until the second batch of orders get here from Germany.  The key parts are:

• E-FIX Dongle
  
• GIGABYTE GA-EP45-DS3R Motherboard
  
• Intel Core 2 Duo E7200 CPU
  
• Kingston HyperX 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR2 SDRAM
  

I should be able to dual-boot OS X or XP but I expect I'll spend most of my time in OS X since WoW runs quite nice...
