I may just have to spring for that Xbox 360 now. If I could only figure out how to stream DivX to it without transcoding...

Slate's Take on "This is Our Country" Ads

I always felt that there was something mildly disturbing about Chevy's new truck ads - thank goodness someone else has done the heavy lifting for me by analyzing the piece! Three cheers for not having to think.

Kick A$$ Flash Drive for ReadyBoost

If you're hankerin' for a kick <bleep> drive to use with ReadyBoost on Vista look no further! The Apacer Handy Steno AH123 is a super tiny 1 Gig USB drive that I am using on my Vista RC2 notebook. SuperMediaStore sells them for $23.49 but sadly as of this moment they are out of stock. The nice thing about this drive is that it's super tiny and you could keep it plugged into your notebook all the time without worrying about busting the damn thing off.

PS: Don't ask me what the green thing it comes with is for - I have no idea.
